Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort and Casino recently opened in Singapore. The iconic facility sits in downtown Singapore and includes; the world’s largest cantilevered roof sitting on top of three 58 storey hotel towers, the world’s highest skypark and infinity pool, casino, convention centre and a seven star shopping mall complete with a rain vortex supplied gondola canal system. Nukote Coating Systems (Singapore) started working with the owner and architects in September 2008 and continued this close relationship throughout the project. When the Casino opened in the fall of 2010 Nukote products were utilized in all of the projects complex applications including; casino blast mitigation systems, potable water storage systems, hotel tower roof systems, skypark roof garden waterproofing, skypark roof systems waterproofing and the gondola canals and vortex supply system.
